The only danger with playing differently in freerolls is that you can get into bad habits and start to play too loosely in the money games... but yeah it's a good idea if you can learn to switch your play. I tend to avoid slow freerolls as I find them more trouble than they're worth (the PKR freerolls are ok as the field is limited)
