You'll find this amusing. Tofay, Im trying to release the 1st $14 of my $140 bonus so I can get the fuck out of there "FT"
I'm losing like crazy - of course. At one stage I had two ring games going.
Left screen ,A10 black, right screen, A8 red. Flop left screen, all red, right screen all black. It's the way it always is on FT for me. I've hit one flush in memory.
Anyhows, back to the story, I'm trying to get my bonus, I'm on a $25 buy in ring game. I get KK. I slow play it and flat-call (big mistake) . Flop is x8x. I then raise $3. get one caller. I bet $5. he calls. Turn is x. I raise $8. He calls. River is Ace. You got it. I lost $20 odd to A8 off. He must have put me on a low board-pair and ran with it.
So a few hands later - I'm well pissed off. Like really totally pissed off. My bankroll is under half and I just want out.
I get AA. No fucking around this time. I raise $3.50. I get a caller. Flop is xxx. I bet about $6. He calls. Turn is a King. Oh shit - I know full well he has AA, KK, QQ or JJ. I bet another $6 he raises all in. I know 100% now he has KK in his hand. I'm so angry I say "ahh sod it at least I'll hit my bonus with this huge loss" (Totally stupid of course - loss is greater than the bonus lol). I call. The most stupid call on earth but I didn't care. I wanted an end to my misery.
River - Ace - lmfao! - I doubled up pretty much and he said "that hurt". I didn't even reply. I left the table, and check my bonus had been paid. It had.
I've emailed Full Tilt. Something is seriously wrong with their bonus scheme. I quote from their site
Heading : Tournaments and Sit & Go's
"For every dollar paid in tournament fees, you will receive 7 Full Tilt Points. There is no cap on the number of points you can receive."
that means $5 SNGs should give 35 FTPoints and $10 SnGs 70 points. Looking at my hand histories I should have about 950 points. I have 290.
Regarding your play style Trueform, that sounds fairly much like me. I guess I'm just doomed at FT lol. I watched 2 pros at a 100/200 table today. Insane - people at the table with $60k! and putting £16k bets in.
I'm well and truly outta there. Back to PP with my fishing rod and I'll see how Cake goes - that seems very promising.
