hehe - thx bud. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Once I realised how everyone seemed to play (and there was not much variance) I was set. God, I folded a few pocket pairs!. Once it was the wrong move - but all the rest made me smile.
The biggest thing that struck me was that practically everone thought it was "fishy", "weak" or "lame" to lay down a hand with a resonable sized pot. That's what I noticed and cashed in on. I could hear the tuts and sighs when I got pushed off a pot, but inside, I just smiled as I knew I was doing the right thing. Didn't take long to get all the chips off those that did it to me :-)
Bit of an argy kicked off on one table - a table with the more "lively" players. I gather someone said he was the best player there and another chap took exception. Only one of that table made it to the final, and I took him out.
Best hand was when I had JQ clubs with a 2 club flop. I called a 300 raise to see the turn. Missed. Then the other guy only bet 200 so I of course called and hit the river club. That, apparently, made me a fish :-p
