Ah, perhaps it isn't as bad as it sounds. We too get a lot of 'vocal strategists' voicing their opinion on pretty much all hands that are played. I think these people just arn't confindent in their game and need to announce to everyone that they know whats going on and they have a good grasp of poker. I tend to let the chips do the talking.

However i'm still interested to know where you played this mtt (was it the gutshot?)
