I don't see what the problem is, a computer shuffles numbers 1-52 and hands out the cards. Then it's up to the player to make the correct decisions.
Let's say for arguments sake that an online poker sites RNG is slightly different from a live hand shuffle. What you're all missing is that once the cards are dealt, the fundamental theories of poker still apply. You guys speak as if AA doesn't get cracked in a live game. Of course it does and it happens a lot.
Also, if online poker is rigged or whatever you want to call it. Then why are successful online players doing so well in live events? Take Kevin Saul for example, he just won the
Bellagio Cup III which is a
WPT event by knocking out Mike "the mouth" Matusow. He has been one of the top 10 online players for a couple of years now. He's a regular winner on
Pokerstars and
Bodog. Now he has a WPT title to go along with everything else he's won. Which brings be back to the point that once the cards are dealt, you still have to play sound poker. If you check your AA to the BB and the BB flops the nuts then you're in big trouble. It doesn't matter if it's online or live.
So my point is, become a great poker player and you won't be sitting around thinking about a poker sites RNG. You'll be too busy making a living by playing a game. Bad beats are part of the game, learn to shake them off and move on. I've also just used one example here, there are many more players who make the transition because they understand the game.
