When entering a rebuy satellite tournament, it is most wise to immediately rebuy. Play in rebuys is very loose, so if you catch a good hand early and get allin, you can have triple to quadruple the starting stack almost immediately. If the tournament is a Turbo tournament, you have to adjust your game accordingly, playing more fast and loose than usual. If it is a standard rate tournament, your usual game will work fine for the first hour. At the addon period, if you are in the middle of the pack, buy as many chips as possible. The goal is to double or triple up very quickly, especially if you're joining in late. And remember it's ok to spend $20 in a rebuy when the seat you're trying to win is $50. It's still a 60% savings.
