Do you mean people staring at you or you at them? If it's you staring at them then move your mouse over another head or stack and your head will turn to look at that. Then when you move your mouse again it should come back to centre.

I've also found that if you select dynamic mode and place your mouse just above centre of the screen (so your mouse is over the head when in 'close up' shot)then your character will turn to look at whatever player the action is on. Might make people think you're paying attention to the game while you're actually reading your emails lol
