Really bad... My old character used to sound like a dude, he had some really cool laughs (I think it was American South) and really suited my avatar.
There is only one American voice now and he sounds like a dick.
I've had to switch to the Dutch (the only one which is vaguely tolerable).
A real case of 'if it aint broke don't fix it' !
