I agree with Blunder. Sitting out early is bad play as you can earn lots of money off the weak/loose players and this will put you in a better position for the later stages.
A better tactic might be to play super-tight (top 10 starting hands for example) and try to avoid any all-ins or big raises, unless you're in a winning position.
