First of all, Hi!

Been lurking for a few days now since i first made the jump to real money in PKR. Initially, i put in $50 and sat myself down at the 0.04c tables. Deciding this was far too slow, i moved up to the 50/$1 tables and began playing. I was sucked in. I called with crap hole cards and always hit straights or flushes.

After the night, i went to bed with $150 dollars in my account

The next night, i came on, my head wasnt clear, and i played incredibly shit poker. I was calling hands/raises on tables and not hitting like i was the night before. My $150 was soon 0, and i found myself redepositing $50, which was also soon lost. I went to bed, cursing myself. I was sucked in to the shit poker that PKR's RNG 'seems' to sometimes produce.

The next day, i reinvested a further $50, sat down with a few drinks and chinese food at a table, and decided i was going to play smart.

I played based purely on math. I folded anything that wasnt pockets, AK, AT, AQ, KK or suited high cards. Soon my $50 was 150 on one table alone, at which i seemed to have a commanding position over the other players with regard to me reading them, and them being unable to read me. I soon joined another table, which had me playing 2 tables at once. This was fantastic, you have no time to play with emotion or hope, all i could do was rely on math.

Im happy to say i finished the night at $450, and withdrew a cheque for $300 leaving me with $150 to play with.

Initially, i was sceptical about PKR's RNG which lead me to this website, but now i'm fairly confident its just variance.
