I'm not sure I agree with that.
Sure, there are lots of times when slowplaying can really backfire but if you hit a straight on a rainbow flop for example, there are plenty of situations when you can draw plenty of chips out of it.
I'd definitely agree that it can be very dangerous though. I think that's one of the reasons my game's improved so much lately.
