This is poker and anything and everything will happen to you. Here are 2 live examples from my personal play at this years WSOP.
These are 2 separate hands in the same day. Both times I hold AQ.
Example 1: I raise, he goes allin. I have him well covered and decide to gamble and call. He turns over KK. I think I'm done, the Flop gives me a gutshot and the River brings me the wheel and he storms off on tilt.
Example 2: We're one from the $ and I raise. I quickly get reraised and call. Again I have a massive chiplead. The flop gives me another gutshot. Knowing that we're one from the $ I put the other player allin (decision time, call and lose and the player goes home with nothing). All of a sudden they announce that we're in the money and the player calls. (bad timing for me I'm thinking). She has QQ, turn is no help to me, River makes my straight for another wheel.
Yes I was super lucky both times, but I had massive chipleads on the other players and I wanted to build chips. Plus I was feeling lucky.
These are live examples on the worlds biggest poker stage. What card shuffle they use is unimportant as in the long run every can and will happen. Stop thinking about shuffles and bad beats and just play your game.
