I wouldn't count yourself completely out though Lucia. With a basic knowledge of the game, someone can do reasonably well against the right competition. I think you're on the right path though. You're reading up with the intention of progressing your game and that in and of itself is a great thing. I guess I wound put myself in the same category. I've learned so much about so many things it's amazing. Like yourself I've learned a lot about my personal gameplay, skills, etc. Then there's game theory, strategy, poker math, maximizing profitability, you name it.
