Problem with PKR ! - PKR Nation - For PKR 3D Poker and Casino Players

Hi,

Im not sure. if this is the right place for posting this,
but I have a big problem with PKR:

I downloaded the software,
I click on "play PKR"and
a black window pops up and it initializes,
but after finishing this, i klick on the play button and pkr launches,
but then this window pops up:

Fatal error

Could not initialize client - Cant create a D3D device - -2005530516, -2005530518 (Render Init) (Render Init)

what is the problem, what i have to do

download pkrinstall.exe again, install

pretty sure it's because you either don't a 3d card or the one you do have isn't compatible with PKR, this happened on my oldest laptop

Is there a way to download the PKR client other than doing the full online connected to the PKR server thing? A direct link URL of some sort?

This far down south we have pretty crappy connections and bandwidth speeds, and a lot of guys I speak to about playing on PKR indicate that they struggle to spend hours online to a Euro-based server to download a +700MB.

If we could get a link to an alternate download source, they could possibly use a download manager to help get the client files over a number of sessions if need be, as opposed to having their connection bomb half way through, and then having to restart it from scratch.

I know that PKR offer the files on CD, but as dodgy as our Internet services are here, our postal services are worse! I ordered a disk over 5 weeks back, and am still waiting for it...

I havent seen it availible in a mirror link ( other then the actual server link )
it would make sense too..

as for your download manager. It still should be able to download pkr atm and pause.... and resume later.
even FF will do that.
