Thats exactly what i want you to think lol. The main reason i do chip tricks is because i'm a very figity person. Even now sitting at work i'm spin pens, bounce my leg, chew pens. I would do all of these things at the poker table as well if i didn't have chip tricks to concentrate my mind. When i'm doing a chip trick i can concentrate on doing that trick and prevent the natural tells my body gives away. Since i'm doing tricks to minimize tells i may as well make them look cool

If you're doing it consistantly than it will hide tells, but if you suddenly start doing it more or less when you have a good hand, then it is a tell. And a very good one at that.

During the last 5 or so player stage of my game I just stuck with a 6 chip shuffle, no matter what, bluffing, trapping, anything. Just kept 6 chip shuffling. Gave me somethign to look at too. I did occasionally glance up over my glasses at my opponent to randomly chuck in some confusion.

When I semi bluffed a guy on me left and said, "nah - I'll make it easy (dont bother counting your chips), All-in" I then looked at his stack as if to say "they are mine". Easier to do on a semi bluff than a full bluff I'm sure!

I have no idea what I'm doing to be fair, but it felt right at the time and my confidence was on a big high :-)

I didn't notice any of the "twirlers" at the final table :-P
