I like pkr very much, its the only poker that is so realistic.
But i just have to say this: pkr is THE nr1 program of badbeats, its just unbelievable the bad beats i had in my pkr career like 4 of a kind jacks lose from 4 of a kind queens and the pocket rockets lose from 2/7 offsuit almost every time(i always lose with A/A. Or my a/k suited lose from a/7 offsuit, i mean COME ON!!!?!??!!? i play live poker like 3 years now and i have never seen things like that, is this just my bad luck or is it pkr's unbelievable unfairness? please tell me its getting frustrating now and i start to hate playing pkr for real money!

Dude, if your AA is losing to 72 off nearly ecery time then I would say your playing them wrong - don't slow play them - a raise pre-flop would get a 72 off suit to lay down

lol i always raise 3-4 times the BB with that hand and still get called by a huge fish..

I have to agree to a certain extent with P1R447...
I love PKR, it looks great and plays well, but there do seem to be A LOT of crazy / bad beats going on, I've had many recently and I've seen other people getting them too. I lost with AA twice in a row, although I do usually win with this. Just too many horrible river beats, and wild, fluky results.
It defies the 'law of averages', but why would this be? I often wonder how it's programmed, is there an element of luck in the code?
I don't play real cards much anymore, but I used to play quite a bit of real Hold em and I don't remember so many fluky results.
Oh well that's my moan over, I just crashed out of the springfest with three 5's as the other dude caught a flush on the river...
Anyone else think these cards are skanky?

Hey Guys,

From reading forums on a few poker sites I have played on from time to time, every site has users that genuinely believe that they have more bad beats than any other site!

That said, it may be helpfull to:

Post entire hand historys of hands and player actions - then we can comment

Work out statistically how often your hand would\should have held up

work out how many hands you are playing over a period - you should always expect a certain amount of bad beats!

Just congratulate them, take notes, and look to put them in the same position next time.

I'll also add to congratulate players when they win a hand because of bad play. It will encourage them to do it more often and the law of large numbers says that eventually you will take all his/her money.

lol i'd love to post up all my hand histories of beats etc etc but until i can get a program to import my hand history with PKR im not gonna go thru them all individually!

Talking (Thread steal incoming) about hand historys - do we have a dedicated forum for specific hand discussion ? Or should we just use the strategy one ?

What level (cost) of game are you playing? I'm finding that as you creep up the 47 off callers start to vanish. At the end of the day, if people call with junk they are going to get lucky sometimes.
