calling a raise and with a suited connecter in a 6 man table was a bad play in the beginning. Thats a losing play in the ong run imo.

Unless the player was looser than a prossies knickers ofc.

I had this happen to me a few times when I played on PKR.

I can remember several times getting to the turn or river, throwing out a decent bet and the other player getting disconnected. Not surprisingly they always had marginal hands, like second pair. Or on the turn they have a flush draw or straight draw so I would bet big enough so they didn't have any where near the pot odds to call - no problem, just turn off the modem and you get the free call AND the river card AND the free call on the river. And then, as if by magic, they suddenly reconnect in time for the next hand.

The disconnect protect is basically a free call waiting to be abused. I actually sent an email to PKR about it a while ago, but never got any reply. They need to change the way it works in my opinion. If the guy disconnects after someone has bet, like yeyeye in the above hand, they should be folded - which is what happens in other sites. They should only get protection if no bets have been made in the round. It looks like yeyeye realised his top 2 pair could be beat, but he didn't want to fold and he certainly didn't want to call $40.

You can't really report him because there is no way you can prove this was a cheat. It may really be genuine, you just can't be sure. And he hasn't really done anything against the rules because PKR have this system implemented for everyone. I tried reporting someone once. I sent the hand history, details, everything. Never got a reply.

Just suck it up and be thankful that you only get 2 disconnect protections a day

i said it before, i take a suited connector over any hand and if you look at the hand instead of saying the 1st thing that comes to your mind you can see i called the MINreraise and then the other dude makes another MINIMUM raise so i have to call 1.50$ for a +/- 20$ pot, so you saying i should fold?
And i didnt post this hand for people to say they hate the way i played it, YES i play like this and that is where my entire bankroll comes from, you should leave the comment and take a good look on how the hand is played.

Dont you see that villain (Phil9999uk) 1st checked because he posted and then reraises a reraise, and that is suposed to mean he got a really strong hand???!?!i dont think so and i was right because they showed A/10 and A/J.
Now are that hands to reraise with?!?!
It might be a good lesson for you and the reason i posted this is not about the way i played the hand since i played it ok, it's about the sore loser that pulled his internetcable out of his pc.......make a comment on that.

I didn't mean any offence by my comments. You are entitled to play the way you play mate. It wasn't DONKMOVE101 I just personally wouldn't of made that play "at the beginning" I agree after the flop you made the right play.

As I said in my first post, I have no knowledge of how the players were playing etc, I would play that move myself if the players were being fish.
As for some moron disconnecting I thinki ti's out of order and pkr should introduce non DP cash tables. I have never had it happen to me yet though.

I saw Darwin1986 on the $5-$10 table do this in a pot that was around 5k, he got top pair + a straight draw and someone with a 5k stack pushed allin in a huge pot.He disconnected and made his straight on the river to take down a pot where he already invested 2.5k in.Ofcourse the other guy had him beat with 2 pair until the river...
Pkr knows about this but won't do shit about it, that worries me because i would go crazy if something like that happened to me in a pot that big.

How the hell is someone sitting with 5k at a 5-10 table? I could see 1 guy building that up...but 2?! Hmm

is that impossible? i dont think so, i once had more then 200$ on 0,10/0,25 stakes(where the max buying is 25$) and there was one other guy who had over 100$ simply by taking all the money of steaming people.

thats absolutly horrible... PKR really needs to address things like that, however alot of the time people are given the benefit of the doubt. They should only grant maybe 2 all protections per month or something to protect legiament players.
