this is why stat tracking is essential to anyone who plays poker alot. all these "bad beats" are generally just variance. its not uncommon to play 100k hands and have downswings of 10-20k hands every so often so you just have to learn to roll with it.

over time though (say a million hands) if you play steady and are getting your money in when your ahead all the time you WILL come out in front.

yea hellwung i tottaly agree m8 this site is a complete farse nice pretty sims type graphics ROFL i wont deposit anymore on pkr cos of all the phony flops and bull ive seen im jus playin out my points i had 1500$ 3 weeks ago now pkr has broke ma ass now u cant call that all bad beats ive spoke with poker and they refuse to look at my hand his why...im not shure what a load of complete junk theyre stupid card sytem is....pkr called me paraniod and oooh dilusional and crazy of course when u play really well and make all the right moves and u get shafted left right and center u kinda ask urself WTF is with this site and u can all say thats online poker thats aload of crap....i play various sites and u dont see the crap like on here ok i can take bad beats no probs but i cant take blatent rip offs tc all been fun playin with most of u

it aint just the bad beats. PKR is a calling station. People keep calling you and get lucky with the beats, where as on another site you maybe able to take it down to heads up and have a better chance of winning.

Unless your extremely good or suited to PKR's style, stay with it, but I cant afford it and I am leavign PKR.

Was playing a SnG just few mins ago, I only had $500 left so I go all in with KT, everyone folds except one person. I don't remember the 2nd card but one card the other person had was 8.

flop comes and I get KT and something else. I'm thinking sweet I just doubled my money. But to no surprise knowing PKR the 5 cards on table were KQT9 and some other card and my two pairs loose to a straight

ya man i hear u too many luckers and idiots i like pkr for its quality but it is stupendous man the complete piles of chit get called but to get ur ass kiked continiously to stupidness is farcical to say the least and to be honest the system of cards on pkr is crazy so yes hellwung bud stuff pkr !!! bad beats is 1 thing but this site seems to be a joke ......to me compared to alot of them ....go figure....

Yes PKR's cards are crap, the weakest hand always wins.

I'm going to chuck this in because I had a good night. I lost, but I had a good night and came out remembering the hands I got that I wanted rather than the ones that failed.

I'm totally with you on the PKR special flop. Strights and boats getting made on total long shots. I've come to be very wary of it now, and it's made me a little more cautious. Maybe that's a good thing. Still undecided whether I'll reload if I empty my account (going in that direction).

But , and here is the point, I remember tonight the 3 times my AA held up. Twice standard raises and once with some community cards. I remember my AK holding up twice on All-in. My AQ clubs, hitting a life saving flush, another AQ off landing trips Queens.

The point is, I am in a good mood tonight, and really enjoyed my poker. I lost, but I feel I played well and I happened to have a good laugh too. Because I've come out of it positive, I remember the times my cards held up.

I dunno. I felt the cards performed as they should tonight, and I'm pretty sure it was because I was playing for fun.

Anyway - the good news is they do hold up sometimes :-p
