Hey Dopeboy, don't know if u saw this post:
http://www.pkrnation.com/pkr-poker-h...good-hand.html (stealing blinds with a good hand!)
I had an almost identical situation, the only difference was the guy had 10,9
Basically I find it all too suspicious not too be suspicious.
Anyway I'm happy over at Party and YES my good hands are holding up over there and I'm starting to enjoy playing again without that nagging PKR paranoia thinking 'omg I wonder if this great hand is actually gonna hold up this time'

Hey fellas - what's Party Poker like? is it ok for peeps liek me that like to play 3 and 5 dollar SNGs? easy to get games? and low cost MTTs? I'm looking at putting a few bucks in another site and seeing how I go. I also want to use a poker indicator to get a better grasp of pot odds, implied etc.

There're so many players on Party that they have pretty much every game under the sun and plenty of applicants, they definately have low stakes SnG's.
They also have 'shootouts' which is my favourite tournie format.
I'd recomend it. Even though the graphics are simple they're still better than most of the other 'basic' sites.

cool - what I needed to know. will see how my points fair here, and put my new money in PP for a little tester. Even if it just means faster games I'll be more than happy.

No need for the sarcasm :-) - we can turn this into a PP thread if you like :-p

I like PKR a great deal but I almost certainly won't be reloading. I will use it for fun and point spending. I can't help feeling I'm playing a slot/fruit machine that insists I lose when I get to a certain percentage over my initial deposit.

I'm going to try another site and see if it's all in my head.

To be honest, I've pretty much sat on the fence on this issue so far, as you'll see if you read my posts. They are very balanced, if not more in favour of PKR than against. But It's now becoming alarmingly common to see comments during games referring to the "PKR special" flops from people I don't know at all.

Even today, someone in a SNG said, in response to comments about the new features, "well I hope they've fixed the issue of a flush/straight every 3 hands, and when you have JJ there will be KK and QQ out there lol"

It could all be conspiracy nonsense, but at the end of the day, I'm paying my own cash to play, and I don't feel convinced it's going in the right place right now.

Aside from all the above, I'm getting sick and tired of people going all-in on 7 3 off and beating me. Not beacuse it shouldn't happen often, but because there are a lot of players who play PKR for "fun" - too much. Yes, it should be fun, but some of the muppets that come online treat it very much as a video game. It's very frustrating when some tw@t calls your All-in AK with a 7 3 off and wins. No use telling me we will win over time. The chances are I'll never see that particular guy again. I'm seeing this a lot. Idiot wipes you out. Idiot dissapears.
