I'll still most definately be here. I've made too many friends, with very helpful people like yourself, to dissapear, and the PKR interface is very special. Maybe I'll hate PP, maybe I'll start winning at PKR. Who knows, but I simply must find out how much of a difference there is - not to mention how much removing the "interactive" interface changes my game.

Oh dear God! I'm on my 1st SNg at party Poker. What a soulless experience. It's sooo dulll.

OK, I'm not a professional gambler, so it DOES matter. It's so damn borning lol.

hmm - lets see how quick I can get rid of my 50 bucks now lol.

(funny thing though. many many hands in and only one out so far lol - not quite so mad on the all-ins)

Update - laugh my f'ng ass off - ive joined a pot limit SNG! - Doh!

Further update. Came 2nd. Pot limit is odd. Once I realised halfway through the game I could nto go all-in it smacked me in the face that I'd have to see most rivers. Worked fine till heads up then my normal strategy went a bit tits-up lol.

Never again. No more pot limit! :-)

hmm i think the threadstarter and some others must be very very bad loosers, you know...

it's normally to have "bad beats", of course you argue about your misfortune many times in poker - but it's still kind of gambling..

i do play poker in real life as much as online, and i got so bad beaten sometimes in real life like in online-poker...

to put the blame on pkr for loosing in online-poker (because you had misfortune or you just cant play cause ur a n00b..) is sooooo ridicolous...

do somebody of you really think there's going a conspiracy on where YOU are picked by pkr to loose, and the people of pkr.com sit at their monitor and let you loose in river ??

or do you think half of the ppl playing at pkr are cheating?? i never had problems in pkr - i even play better like in real-life... think there are so much noobies 'round

Limit and PL is good way for new players to learn to play without the allin button. It seems new players get fixated on clicking it.

(btw - I probably was one, but I now truly know what a donk is - run into a fair few recently! :-p )

I agree.
I've been reading this thread, I am amazed that the people who say they are getting way too much bad beats, blame PKR for it.

Maybe the "bad" players call too much, but maybe you don't RAISE enough ?
Maybe step up some stakes, where there are better players ?

And be aware that AA KK is just 1 pair with slim chances of improving.

Be smart and fold them when you feel you are beat.

And having bad beats is a sign of you playing good, you are a long time winner.

Surely the maths dictates that the best hand should win most of the time, especially when it's the best hand after the flop, it seems to me that too often the crap hand is winning...
#42, yeah not a bad beat, just ridiculous...

this conversation allways arises and i do think it is a bit funny how u can have a bonafide hand and 1 person has a club for example and ooooooh what a surprise they hit runner runner runner runner to make a flush that happens sooo much on here and of course high straights i am getting a bit tired of the way the cards seem to lay sometimes i have to admit it ....

I wouldn't be on this forum, in this thread, if there wasn't anything fishy going on on PKR. I'm not the forum kind of guy, but after a series of bad beats and very weird stuff happening on there I had to check if there was anything being said about it on the net. The fact that there is talk about it, strengthens me in my believe.
I totally agree with Hellwung and Dopeboy. A bad beat is one thing. Bad beat after bad beat, after bad beat, is another.
One person thinking pkr is rigged is one thing, several people thinking it makes it something else.
I'm not reloading either.
