Just had a nasty little series. Flopped a flush, got a caller on a big raise and he hit runner runner for a full house. He was so apologetic and was cool enuf to let me in on his reasoning.
I had just stolen the blinds and than taken down a hand on a slow played monster. His reasoning was exactly the point u made about being the sheriff. Just keeping the table honest and letting me know I would get called. His comments kept me off tilt and I was able to hang in for 3rd at the STT. Not a great finish considering i had a big chiplead, but because of his comments i was able to stay on my game and not expect to be beaten on the following hands.
Its amazing what a thoughtful comment like "sry m8, that was BS" can do.

I wish I had the bankroll to be able to play at "real" levels. Id very much like to see how i would do.
I've only had the chance to play in a couple PKRNation tourneys but have found the play there not only more challenging than what Im used to, but also the fact that raises are respected, and it makes for a much more enjoyable game.

Trueform, your posts have made me a much better player and help me enjoy the game a hell of alot more. Thank You!

Nicely said Trueform. You have hit the nail on the head. We don't see a massive percent of hands we are against and it's too easy to make assumptions without that information.

The more I hear people complaing about RNGs the more I laugh. It's simply far far too comlicated to manipulate.

For a while I got that "doomsday button" feeling each time I got near completing my next bonus level. But I'm realising it was my fault. I tried to rush my game to reach my bonus. That or a simple bad luck streak.

I played a game tonight where I was not concentrating. I went all in with my AK against JQ and lost. It wasn't a bad beat. It was statistics. There was a very reasonable chance I'd lose. It was my fault because normally, with my near-starting stack, there was no reason at all to call an all-in so early that was forced on me.

Here's a great example of how an incorrect assumption can lead to u thinking the RNG is "messed up/fixed/rigged etc"""" Keep in mind that the river was the exact card I wanted to it!!!!!

Casual obeservations led me to believe I was WAY ahead on the flop. Was I wrong! I was dominated from the start!

My info raise was flat called which made me weary of the flush after the turn. But when I saw that beautiful river make me the boat i was sure i had the nuts, facing trip aces and a flush!

Wrong !!!!!! Nothing i could of done about the 88 except give him more of chance to show his strength, but why would he?

And if i would have given credit to Jodi haveing a piece of the flop along with her ace id of been gone. But No, i saw a miracle opportunity and called orphanedglands flush on a 9 outer which turned out tbe a 1 out hail mary ! What was i thinking!

Unlikely, yes.
Impossible, No.


By not giving credit where credit was due i got busted.
