Well said Becksta, I couldn't agree more. It's all about the consistant/expected odds, like I've said before if I'm playing the odds and they're not holding up (as on PKR) then that's no good to me. If I wanted a random game of luck, I would go down to my local arcade and play video poker - no thanks.

That's is EXACTLY the reason I play there. Nobody knows how to play! It's brilliant.

If you don't want people to call when you stick your chips in with the best hand, then you do not understand the fundamentals of the game.

Oh and by the way, the best hand doesn't always win. No, really.

I think most of us have come round to understanding pkr funky graphics attracts calling stations galore.

I played a 5/10c ring game today and it was laughable.

1st position raised to 20c. EVERYONE called.

1st position raised to 50c - All but 2 (10 seat) called. two of them had K3 off and K2 off.

Basically everyone chases so you see an aweful lot of great hands from people who should nto have been there.

Hey what you have to remember is that eventually when a site gets really popular with the masses you will always, and I mean always end up with this type of playing.

I have been a member of a few of sites and whenever they start to become more popular and noticed by the general public then the playing always starts to get more erratic and stupid and people will call on the dumbest of hands that really statistically and with random math should rarely win and you really should not call, unless you know what you are doing, and they can win, but on average they will lose the money they put in to a much better hand.

That is randomness for you. I will agree that there can seem to be a lot of flushes and straights, but they are still less frequent that on some other sites, but at the same time, you have to include a high portion of these hands as they are the ones which keep people happy and wanting to play more - unfortunately for the ones of us who want to play properly, there are at least another 5-10 people who just want entertainment at any cost.
