Essentially everyone's been through the debate about the validity of pkr hands. I personally think we all gain from it sometimes and lose from it sometimes, regardless of how good we are (if doubts are true).. So it needs to be taken with a pinch of salt, if we choose to play PKR.

What worries me, in fairness, is the turn that PKR has taken in the new year. I don't know if anyone agrees, but I feel that there's just too much going on right now. The site is now laid out as if it had the traffic of a full tilt of sorts, when it averages less than an 8th of the traffic the big sites do.

What this has resulted in, I've noticed, is that the tables never fill up anymore.. Last night I registered to the Terminator 2, when there were other 7 people registered. Went on about my business, forgot about it and fell asleep.. Woke up 8 hours later and the tourney hadn't started yet lol..

Also, it seems like there are no more tourney's catered for people who want to get their share of the money. Most guaranteeds, non speed, seem to be 20 dollars and over now, sums which I can't sustain myself for entertainment poker. Also, I was wondering if anyone could explain why antes were introduced? The final table of a tourney tonight seemed like a game of roulette because everyone was anting more than a 7th of their stack..

Sorry for the rant, but living in Italy I can't access PKR.com and this is my main resource to find out about it.

If you knew anything about poker you'd know it's easier to beat rubbish players than good ones.

I'm still losing on the basis of playing badly combined with poor hands....I can lose with good hands as well but it is harder so I'm not wholly convinced that it is actually rigged.....

but would like to believe so....it'd make me feel so much better but suspect that my patience is just too lacking at the moment.

That's why patience is the key. You have to wait for the good hands.
As somebody mentioned recently: It's not about the hands you win, it's about the ones you don't lose...

Previously, I've actually stayed away from playing for a few days whenever the negative mental aspect started compounding the problems and if I'd become overly patient/cautious before then launching into overly agressive play..currently on a sabatical again at the moment so hopefully the weekend will be a return to form!!
