Hey Everyone, I've been a member of a few of Nation's sites for a while now, but have never been prominent in this one because I cannot play on PKR. However, it seems that Cake Poker has been a very hot topic of discussion since the NSOP eneded. I am just curious to know how many people here that play on PKR also play on Cake.

Everyone, Im serious on voting here. Im sure if we have enough players and enough players that want to play there, Nation can set us up some good games there, Cake is often VERY generous to sites that get enough players there.

Trust Kingboro - I just played late Sat night ring games there and I doubled my bankroll in about an hour and half. I hade trip Jacks with highest card on the flop a Q . I pushed all in as I knew the other chap had a weak hand. He called my $20 all in with a pair of 9's!!! get in there! :-)

It's a mix of Russian and American players. There are a few sharks swimming around, but if you pick tables where only one person at the most has above teh max buy in it WILL be fishy. And I'm not so hot myself.

Still struggling what the best time is to play on Cake. I believe the fish come out late in the evening and early morning.

I play on Cake because of the players. The only extra thing I like about Cake is the speed of the game. Otherwise, I prefer to play on PKR.
In my opinion PKR gives a better overview of all the bets and who plays position etc in my opinion. And I can maximize the screen

So unless we get money added tournament, I prefer to play the PKRN tournaments on PKR

Interesting perspective. I prefer 2d games now as I've got used to the speed and find PKR unbearably slow. Plus multi-tabling on PKR is a nightmare. Each to their own of course. pKR is definatley the most fun site, that's for sure. I really enjoy the PKRN games. It's very immersive and a good laugh. You feel almost like you are sitting at the table with people.

As for feeding time, I'm finding the common recommendation of late in the evening and weekends holds true. Which is odd, because most of the people are USA and Russia - so it'll be a different time for them.

Been having some good results with SNGs on cake too - though there seems to be a constant theme so far - on a 10 seater, the 1st 5 seem to go relatively quickly but the last 4 can be amazingly stubborn. It's not been uncommon for them to last over 1 and half hours in total. It seems the good players are hanging around there. I've only had one easy SNG, the rest were a real tough battle.

I'll give you a heads up on the large overlays on Cake a little later today.
