Default Full Tilt going crazy

I'm experiencing a very weird time at Full Tilt at the moment. I just played 2 STT's and in the first one AA came out 6 times in 50 hands (3 times in the first 9 hands) and in the second one AA appeared 4 times in the relatively short time before I was busted out. AA's good friend KK also made several appearances in both STT's. It was KK that busted me out of the last one.

I've also suffered 2 big beats, almost identical in nature. Both times I have had the nut flush by the turn, both times the other guy went all-in with 2 pairs and both times they hit a full house on the river.

It also seems that I cannot win the races, which is starting to annoy me. I have AK, short stack goes all-in with 6-6 and his pair holds up. I'm short stack, go all-in with J-J and get called by AK, flop comes down A-K-x. I had an all-in with A-Q suited called 7-5 off suit (I have no idea why) and the flop was Q-7-x with a 5 coming out on the turn. I had AA all-in called by 7-7. One of the 7's was a club, and 4 clubs came out. None my aces were clubs. And so on through numerous other examples. lol

So I don't like Full Tilt at the moment. I hate these damn downswings. lol

yep the down swings come big and seem to last longer everytime they come.

I'm in a similar boat on PKR at the moment, great hole cards then crap on the flop, and dirty 4 card flushes are the big thing beating me latly.

Tempted to try a new account with rakeback and play ring games instead.
Or even try another site.

SSS_Hoon, try Cake Poker, lots of fish, just ask Dodgey, Dunbar and Assistanc3. Or you can just trust me

go to Cake Poker Rakeback — Cake Poker Rakeback and Bonus Codes and follow the instructions. It's 33% rakeback.

I'm currently in one of the worst downswings Ive ever had, I hate poker at the moment. This is bad timing as I have 2 big live tournaments coming up in a month.

And just to rub my nose in it - I just had a nice full house hit on the turn but the Poker Gods are against me as the other guy had quads! Doh!

I might try Cake Poker for a change. Is there a way to track rakeback?

You can track your rakeback in your Cake account. It gets updated almost immediately. And they pay you directly, so no waiting around for a rakeback program to do it.

lol, I'm going nuts with FT and am close to pulling out. Just gave it another go and lasted 20 hands in which AA came out 3 times. AA busted my JJ on a 10 high flop and I stupidly called his all-in (I swore I wouldn't play like that again, but old habits ...)

I have never seen AA come out so much in such a short spate of hands as I have on FT in the last couple of days. My count is roughly 11 times in about 100 hands. 220-1 odds my arse. lol. I have no idea why it suddenly started doing this, I haven't seen it before in the couple of months I've been playing there. And the bad beats seem to be getting worse (not just me, I have seen some others take an upper-cut to the chin). I'm sure it's just the way the cards are falling at the moment but it's time for me to take a break from Full Tilt I think because it's making me go on 'full tilt'. hehe

Do what I did mate - pull out and use another site till you are ready for FT again. Don't make the initial mistake I did and stay to chase a bonus. It's good to leave one site alone for a while. I think partly because you tilit on that particular site, if you see what I mean.

Cake is uber fun at the moment - tho I find SnGs tedious there as that seems to be where the better players handgout.

You might be amused to know on a cake tourney today I ended up all in with AK against AK. Blind.

He had the A of clubs, and yep, you guessed it, runner, runner, runner, runner clubs

I downloaded Cake today, and to be honest I didn't like the software at all. I found it fast, confusing and ugly. Couple that with the fact there were only just over 800 people online and I don't really think it is for me. I watched a 10 seater STT filling up ... for about 15 minutes and it still wasn't full (I kept checking back, I didn't just sit and watch it, lol).

So for now I think I'm just going to have a little fun on PKR and rest FT for a few days

Like I said - avoid the SNGs :-) - play the MTTS and ring games. The MTTs have SUCH small fields and the ring games are full of calling stations.

Not uncommon for the GTD games to be a 25% + overlay

Ignore the interface and enjoy winning :-p

btw - I'm picking up your vibe on FT right now. Two made hands in a row got beaten by all-in long shots - trips on flop got broken by flush then tptk on flop beaten by open ended straight draw on river lol

Yep, Dodgey is right. If you play the GTD MTT's you can be sure there is an overlay. Also the cash games are quite soft.

I dont know how Dodgey is doing, but I've turned my 100 dollar initial deposit into 700 dollar know, just playing there for 3 weeks now.

Their loyalty program is way better then the one PKR has. You can use your gold chips and gold cards for tournaments with a prize pool of $3000 or $1800 which is way more than the $400 PKR is offering. And the Cake Poker tournaments have like 150 participants who think bottom pair is the nuts, while on PKR you have to fight through 400 ppl playing bingo.

The only thing that annoys me is that they won't change my account to a rake back bonusaccount
