lol, if I get outdrawn once more on Full Tilt I'll go crazy. I am experiencing such bad luck on there at the moment I'm pulling my hair out.

It's been a while since a won an STT, but it's not down to bad play, just bad luck. I just busted out the last one in 7th. Had A-Q on a Q high board. I bet it and was raised to put me all-in (I was fairly short stacked). I called. he showed 7-7 and I was a happy bunny. An ace on the turn gave me 2 pairs, but a 7 hit the river and I was gone. And that has been the story for a few days now.

I've had a few second places and a few non-cashes over the last week. I am slightly in profit so I suppose I shouldn't complain really but it could be a whole lot more if Lady Luck would stop kicking me in the balls at the crucial moment.

The other day I was heads-up, I had 11,500 chips, he had the remaining 1,500. I was counting the winnings when I was dealt A-A and he pushed all-in. He had K-9. A 9 on the flop and another 9 on the river doubled him up. No problem. I am still 10,000 - 3,000. A few hands of "raise and fold" followed and he managed to move up to 3,500 and pushed again. I called with J-J. He turned over 5-5. This time it was over quicker as a 5 hit the flop. Now he is 7,000 - 6,000 leader. Then came a run of pure junk. 7-3 off suit, 8-4, 5-2 and so on. He was raising every pot by now so I couldn't even bluff. Finally he gets me down to 4,500 chips and I get A-K suited and push. He called and showed A-7. All was fine until a God damn 7 hit the river!

And on and on it goes. I'm fine until I get heads up then I may as well just shut down because I can't win them. The last heads up was earlier today and yet again I had to settle for 2nd. I was all in with J-9 on a flop of J-9-4. He called with 8-3 of diamonds. At first I was surprised but then noticed 2 diamonds on the flop and I had none. It was then just a matter of when the diamond would appear. It was the river to rub it in. lol

So at the moment I hate Lady Luck. She's not been completely nasty to me, I have had my fair share of suckouts. But when it gets to heads up I always seem to get it all-in with the best hand and just can't hold on. I suppose next week I'll love her again if this crappy luck ends

It certainly comes in s of good and bad, that's for sure. And it's not site specific. I was playing FT and cake yesterday evening at the same time, and I think Uranus's rings must have been in Saturn's shadow or something. The cards I got were so lame, I started to laugh after a while, on both games. 69, 93, 92, 92, 93, 74, 73, 72 it just went on and on. Of course the moment I got QQ a King hit the flop. I stopped playing :-)

lol, she is nice to me again at the moment. I finally won one, well 2 out of the last 4 actually. And Lady Luck definitely helped me with the first win. I was almost out at one point, just 570 chips left with blinds at 100/200 so it was push or fold time. I got A-3 and shoved my last chips into the middle. I was called by A-A and I thought I was doomed. But the nice Lady gave me the perfect flop of 2-4-5 !!

From there I managed to get back into it and make it to heads up with 4,000 chips where Lady Luck upheld her favours for me as I took the lead with the worst hand possible (well almost the worst - it was suited). I was dealt 7-2 spades in the BB with the blinds at 300/600. He flat called and I happily checked, fully expecting to fold it away on the flop. 2 spades hit the flop though so I had the flush draw. I bet the pot and he raised all-in. I had 2,200 chips left after these bets with the chance of taking 8,000 from the pot if I won so it was an easy call with the pot odds of almost 3-1 and I knew I was 2-1 to make the flush by the river. I was just hoping he didn't have 2 spades also. He turned over K-4. He had paired the 4 on the flop but had no spades. I needed a spade or a 7. A spade never came out but a 7 did hit the turn.

Thank you Lady. The very next hand I won top prize when I was dealt A-9 and put him all-in. He insta-called with Q-8 (maybe on tilt after losing to 7-2, lol) and an 8 did hit the flop but an Ace showed up on the turn.

So she is currently on my side again, but I know how fickle she can be so I expect I'll be moaning about her again soon. hehe
