Default PKR updates payout schedule
One of the most irritating things about large PKR MTT's was the payout schedule.

The software was limited to paying max 80 people which dated back to the good old times when PKR could max accommodate 700 players in one MTT. They changed that to 2500 a while back but they never updated the payout.

Today I saw a few tournaments which paid more. The Discomonkey $3000 GTD paid 120 places and the PKR open paid $100 places. Some other games with large fields still paid 80 places however so I suppose this change is still in beta.

ya i noticed it too.. and it was about freakin time that they changed that. 2500 runners in that premium freeroll and only 80 payout slots.. buggers.

Yeah, especially that premium game was a joke. On the brightside it meant that if you cashed, you at least cashed some decent money.

great news, i think i will play more 'PKR open' tourneys type now. It was too hard to get pay zone in massive tourneys.

It looks like the software starts paying 100 players when there are 700 or more players. Yesterdays Open with 702 runners paid 100. Todays Open with 655 pays 80 placed.

The freerolls are still 80 ppl max. Dunno about the premium freerolls.

The half price PKR Open from Thursday had 1434 runners and paid 200 places.

Winner got $2427.46. Nice payout for a $9 investment.

I would rather battle myself through a lot of idiots, donks and amateurs then through a field of poker pro's and experts.
