Dear all,

We’re aware that some players have experienced site performance issues over the past couple of days. Please rest assured that resolving these issues is our number one priority, and our technical teams are working on it around the clock.

We’d also like to apologise for not posting to the forum sooner, but we wanted to make sure that we had some definite information – and hopefully an interim solution – to tell you before we posted.

The main site performance issue that players have been reporting is an unacceptable degree of lag in tournaments during peak time. It appears that the main cause of this lagging has been the huge rush of players attempting to register for our standard (ie, non-premium) freerolls. We often find that we have upwards of 3,000 players attempting to register concurrently, and this has put a strain on our system that is starting to affect other areas of the site.

Our technical teams are currently addressing this issue, but in the meantime we will be making some changes to the freeroll structure that should alleviate the problem. The changes will be:

* The 14:30 GMT $20 Freeroll will become a Premium Freeroll with a buy-in of 50 PKR points.
* The 17:00 GMT $50 Freeroll has been removed from the schedule until further notice.
* The 18:00GMT $300 Premium Freeroll has been moved back 30 minutes to 17:30 GMT. The buy-in for this event will be 400 PKR points.
* The 21:30 GMT $50 freeroll will be now be a $300 Premium Freeroll. The buy-in for this event will be 400 PKR points.

These changes will take place with immediate effect.

While we appreciate that there will be many players disappointed by these changes, we feel that improving performance across the site during these periods will benefit all our players.

I don't mind people that play only for the freerolls. If PKR wouldn't lag so much, it won't be a problem for anyone. I bet there will be less people playing those premium freerolls now they all gotta pay PKR points. I think there should be at least one freeroll without paying pkr points. But that's just my opinion.

Edit: I see the 20$-freerolls in the morning are still for free.
I'll take back my complaining :P
Allthough the buy-in of those freerolls are pretty high. I don't make a lot of pkr points, and the ones that do.. they play a lot more and don't care about those little freerolls. ( At least that's what I think ) So.. why making the buy-ins of freerolls high? The people that don't have money can't get in anyway.. Useless! :P

yes in my translation of this document, I found weird that people could be happy of dissapointement ?

Possibly it was write during the night in rush, after 140 user have been waiting for live chat support.

hello what have whe to do with people when thay don't have that much of pkr point's what have the to than just sitting and waiting im sitting and waiting to long im realy pist off because of this it is not the first time it is already the 7e time in this days im realy down about this mabey im stop playing here because it is evry rime the same problem

Maybe it's a normal sentence, but just like BobbyFischer, I'm not English and translate every word in my head.. That's makes it a weird sentence. Appreciating something is a good thing, while having a lot of dissapointed players isn't.

very nice to see how whe can earn pkr point's very great NOT if still the problems continu im not gone play this is for me already the 6 a 7 time this couple of days pleas come with something news
