VP247 is an Absolute Poker skin, but I think they picked the worst possible colors. Absolute Poker looks way better.

Bummer. One of those games where you get nada - 57 off, J2 off, 36 off, etc etc etc. Got A 10 off, best hand all night, and 3 went in before me. Had to fold.

out at 150th ish. Pocket 44's. Called. Junk flop. Raised x2. got raised. called on turn (only had 180 left so put me all-in). He had outside straight draw - he hit on river with a 5. Bah :-(

When playing a freeroll with such a big field I try to play a little loose at first and try to build my stack early. If I don't succeed I go out, but I didn't waste 2 hours trying to make something from nothing. But when you do succeed, you're left in good shape to build your stack.

Well made it to 43rd, no cash or forum points though

Anyone have more success?
There's a couple of things I don't like about Vegas 24/7...
The blinds go up very slowly, making the games go on a bit.
When someone bets you can't see how much they bet unless you're involved in the action (or you try and count their little chip graphics).
You can't see the blind levels, level time remaining etc on the table.

The blind levels have nothing to do with the site. It's how the tournament was set up. As for the levels and time remaining, it's in the lobby. Most sites actually do it this way. I don't have a problem with the software, I just can't stand the colors.

How close were you to the money? I would have though with how fast registration closed that there were over 1000 players.

Nice advice - I just tried that on the PKR premium freeroll. Was 3rd chipleader in 10 hands and finished in the top 20 - Ohh the riches!!! :-p

Free game, and lots of players, might as well make the effort worth while. I learnt something there and I enjoyed it! Thanks.

excellent, way to go.

It's really the only way to play large freeroll fields. Dodgey, I'm gonna make you our poster boy. Isn't it amazing how much more fun and rewarding everything is when you take a little bit of advice and apply it and it works.

Aye! - I'm never one to shy away from good advice - god knows it's frustrating when people ignore mine in life, so I tend not to ignore others :-p
