Angry disconnected players

i have a suggestion that disconnected players in tournaments should be removed from the tournament after a certain number of hands as it slows the gameplay down of other players

hmm, it does and it doesn't. if a player has a bad connection it would seem unfair on their part. my problem are players that just sit out. i do see what you mean though

ive emailed pkr on "discoed" players and they replied that they will not remov them from tournaments after a certain number of hands. Their reasoning was that other sites don't remove them.

i haven't found that it slows the game down but what it does do is allow players who gain a big stack early to "walk away" for an hour so they can avoid getting unlucky and lose a big chunk of their stack. they then reconnect and its as if they folded all those hands without actually being there.

But nothing is worse than finding yourself at a table with 3 or 4 "discos" and trying to win any kind of big hand. I think a solution would be to place them all at the same table.

That sounds like a decent solution, the only thing is it means all the chips that they have just get circulated amongst themselves. It may be worth them sticking a limit as to hom many disco's there are at a table. If all else fails just raise their big blind and they fold. easy chips!! lol

i sat the other nite on a freeroll tournament there were 4 discon's at the table, it was a 6 seater freeroll, was moved, how r players like me supposed to have a fiar chance at other players at tables where everyone is playin. I think they should be limited to 10 disconnected hands IN A ROW and then out, that also would apply for players sat out, if any other members agree please respond and back me

That can be easily exploited. Just disconnect (or not turn up at all), wait half an hour, turn up, and voila! You're at a table full of disconnected people. Take all their stacks, and wait to be moved.
