Well they say a change is as good as a rest today has certainly proved that fact to be true for me. I've had a torrid week on Full Tilt where I was constantly outdrawn, suffered numerous bad beats and generally hit a very rough patch there. So I took the weekend off from poker, mainly because I went away to Chester races (lost there too. Doh! lol) and came back on Sunday night fresh and eager again. So I popped along to Full Tilt, played 2 SnG's, didn't cash again and suffered again. I was on the bubble in the last one, had A-Q, was short stacked and pushed all-in. I was called by 4-2 off suit by the chip leader! Flop came down A-3-x and i thought I was going to double up until a 5 hit the river and gave him a straight! That was the last straw for Full Tilt and me and I decided to stop playing there for now and go elsewhere. I haven't withdrawn my funds, just need to give it a break I think.

As some of you may know, I recently deposited again into PKR after I turned $1.85 into $50 through there STT's so i decided to have a whole day playing $10 STT's there - and was a great decsion it was!

I played 7 so far and cashed in 6. I'm currently on a roll of cashing in 5 STT's in a row. Only managed to win one though, although I almost won a couple more if lady luck was on my side. Heads up my all-in with A-Q was called by J-2 off suit and a J and a 2 came out on the board. And heads up in another, I push all-in with 4-4 on a flop of 2-3-5 and he called with A-Q and rivered a Q. Gah. So it was only luck preventing me from grabbing a bit of extra cash.

If anyone is interested, I have attached the tourneys info from my account. And out of interest, the one I didn't cash was where I was all-in with Q-Q against 7-7 on a low card flop and he hit another 7. I was crippled by that and couldn't recover.

So on the whole, I spent $77 and got $180 back for a nice days profit of $103.

I might play one or two a bit later but the PKR server is a bit cuckoo at the moment with no avatar images or player voices loading. I just played my last STT with us all being 'shadowy ghosts' and it was still the same at the end with just 2 of us left and almost an hour of play.

SO there you go. If you are having a crap time at one particular site, try changing for a while
