Default What would you have done here...

$100NL, 6 seater table. All pretty terrible players. You're sat with $470 and you get dealt:

Ah 10h early pos, min call
Guy 1 (small stack) raises x4, guy 2 (big stack) reraises x10.

You call

10s 5h 8h flop

You bet $4, small stack pushes $25 all in, big stack thinks then pushes $270 all in.

Fold, call?

I'm sat with top pair and the nut flush draw, but i'm almost certain one, if not the two of these players has hit a set or have 10 10+ at least

Anyways, I folded. big stack shows 69o inside straight draw (and didn't hit) and small stack has bottom pair.
Gutted...would have been nearly 7 buy-ins up!

I guess it was a good fold. Putting 3 buyins at risk with top pair is almost never a good idea.

This flop tho was almost the best flop you could hope for, so why did you call preflop?

Ouch. I know the feeling all too well Mambo. I hate to say it, but the "weak" players out there try anything at the table. I've laid down large hands like your's only to watch a pair of sixes take it down. One measly pair; not to mention the sixes were the lowest card on the board. I don't know if there is a proper counter strategy to play against these kinds of people, but I guess just sticking to your game and playing solid poker will hopefully in the long run end up making you the winner.

On a side note, I've noticed that once you know that these guys will play pretty much anything and raise like they've flopped a straight flush, you just have to go with your gut instead of brain and call their gamble.

Just my two cents. I hope you end up the winner in the long run Mambo. You are obviously playing solid poker. Just keep at it with your game and you'll eventually shock these guys with an absolute monster hand while taking their crazy ass raised chips.

I wouldn't be calling a reraise from early position with ATs if I was going to fold when I hit a dream flop like this!

You only really have to worry about what the big stack is pushing $270 with - and the chance he's doing that with TT when you have a T is miniscule. I can't believe you putting anyone on TT! The chance he has got a set is very small. The chance he has AA considering you have an A is also quite small. So I'd be putting him on KK at best - making you a slight favourite over him.

I'd be calling in a heart beat. But I suppose you could argue that if the big stack is playing really badly, you could wait for a less marginal spot to put your money in. But if you've seen him make any similar crazy moves like the 69o shove, then it's a really easy call.

Anyway, usually limp-calling reraises from early with AT is just donk play.

I agree, this is certainly a push situation, sometimes you have to take the chance and shove in your chips, I often do it with worse odds than this
you have to remember than the small stack is getting desperate and likely to go all-in with any old rubbish

Yep, I think I would be calling too. Putting him on AA or 10 10 isn't something I would consider. Hands like Kh Qh are very possible, as are JJ, QQ or KK. It's hard to see anyone re-raising with 55 or 88 so trips seems remote. With an ace in your hand, top pair + top kicker and the nut flush draw, I would shove too
