On a side note, I've noticed that once you know that these guys will play pretty much anything and raise like they've flopped a straight flush, you just have to go with your gut instead of brain and call their gamble. Just my two cents. I hope you end up the winner in the long run Mambo. You are obviously playing solid poker. Just keep at it with your game and you'll eventually shock these guys with an absolute monster hand while taking their crazy ass raised chips. |

I wouldn't be calling a reraise from early position with ATs if I was going to fold when I hit a dream flop like this!
You only really have to worry about what the big stack is pushing $270 with - and the chance he's doing that with TT when you have a T is miniscule. I can't believe you putting anyone on TT! The chance he has got a set is very small. The chance he has AA considering you have an A is also quite small. So I'd be putting him on KK at best - making you a slight favourite over him. I'd be calling in a heart beat. But I suppose you could argue that if the big stack is playing really badly, you could wait for a less marginal spot to put your money in. But if you've seen him make any similar crazy moves like the 69o shove, then it's a really easy call. Anyway, usually limp-calling reraises from early with AT is just donk play. |

I agree, this is certainly a push situation, sometimes you have to take the chance and shove in your chips, I often do it with worse odds than this
![]() you have to remember than the small stack is getting desperate and likely to go all-in with any old rubbish

Yep, I think I would be calling too. Putting him on AA or 10 10 isn't something I would consider. Hands like Kh Qh are very possible, as are JJ, QQ or KK. It's hard to see anyone re-raising with 55 or 88 so trips seems remote. With an ace in your hand, top pair + top kicker and the nut flush draw, I would shove too
