Just played solid poker for an hour in a SnG and bust out near the bubble with pure bad luck. It makes me so angry I feel like punching the monitor sometimes. lol. I have to walk away and calm down. There were 5 of us left, I had around 1600 chips. The big stack had about 6000 chips and he was bullying everyone by raising constantly. Anyway, I get 88 on the button, SB has only 600 chips left. Big stack guy is first in and as usual raises. I call, SB goes all-in, big stack calls. After some thought I decide to call, knowing the SB was desperate and I was figuring the big stack to have AK, AQ or similiar so I just didn't want to see a high card hit. So I have about 1000 chips in front of me and an 1800 pot. The flop comes down 10-3-3. Big stack checks. I'm fairly sure he's missed the flop, especially after raising and not following through with a continuation bet. So I push all-in. Big stack starts to think. I know I have him beat because he would have called in a flash. Time almost ticks away and he calls. He turns over 44. SB all-in turns over 55. Yes. I look at the 3800 pot total and know that there will be 4 of us left and I'll have a good chip stack if I take this. Anyway, turn was a dud but the God Damn mother f******* river was a 4! Aaaargh. Just 2 outs is all he had at the river. Big stack knocked both of us out.
It makes me mad that he would play 4-4 so vigourously, even after the flop. He was behind both of us and he was purely playing his big stack and trying to push us around. But he sucked out and that's poker I guess. But sometimes I get so angry at the damn game. lol. Guess I won't be playing any more tonight
