But that explains why I don't really like bigger games. I don't want to lose this money, so I won't ever have to deposit.

lol 4 shure i started playin pkr in early dec the same way !! got my bankroll to a $1000 so far and i havent deposited any cash its all about being able to win lol i guess and luck ive placed and won in like 40 mtt but pkr has a canny way of takin it back ive had the worst week on pkr so far in 4 months i ve seen some crap on here recently lost over 700 dollars in 5 days which i find ridiculous im loosin faith in pkr by the day ,considering if u care to look at my profile is pretty dam good i played like 10 ,$10 sit n gos and keep gettin sucked out on no matter wht i play infact i get sucked out on typical pkr hand i call AK spades v and i repeat AK this fish called all in i repeat all of his chips in with Q4 pfffffff clubs and oh what a surprise he hit a pkr flush on river stupid this site is lately $700 hmmmmmm not win anything friggin annoyin and frustrating especially when u turn the comp on to play a game u love and friggin cant hit a cold let alone cards .............well done tho keep it up and by the way when pkr takes the rest from me i wont bother depositing any more 700 dollars in 5 days ..............? shady

i started playing with freeroll money 2, i won a couple privates, biggest one 40$ and played for over 6 months with it finally i lost it all and got to the point i didnt want to play freerolls no more because i was used to play real money.
So i made my 1st deposit of only 32$ and again it gives me months and months of playing pleasure with ups and downs definately worth the 32$

We all got our ups and downs.. Mostly downs though..

My highest I came on PKR with freerolls was 97 dollar
But I still haven't lost it all, and i'm definattely going
to try to beat that maximum.

Hey Dopeboy - I was exactly the same as you until 5 days ago - i.e. a baaad losing streak. I found a pattern in the end and am adapting to it. Basically I've found that STTs I win during the day and lose at night. I've won each one I've played for 7 days in a row now (1st each time).

So now, I only play MTTs in the evening until my luck changes/or whatever gets me back in a winning mood in the evenings. (MTTS because you can only lose your one entry fee over about 3 hours so it's a good cheap way of getting an evenings poker.

Makes no sense but I'm sticking with it for now.

Just a thought.

(sucking at MTTs for now, need more work on that as well, but it's fun, if not boring at times)

i remember having a convo with Dopeboy during an MTT about his bad streak -it came at the same time i hit mine, i actually recorded over 65 hands without matching a single card to the flop (whether i played them or not), which is obviously a bit suspect (as everyone with 2 dif cards has about a 40% chance of hitting at some stage in the hand).

I too started on a freeroll - luckily for me it was my first one on pkr - hit the top spot (a massive $5 prize), and turned it into a huge bankroll, so i too have never (and now will never) deposit .

I agree that certain times of the day can affect whether i win or lose - i wonder if this is something to do with the influx of chancer players who finish work, or have had a few drinks etc, who play inconsistantly and irratically -but fluke hands due to lottery poker.

Cant complain tho (even tho i frequently do) - as my response to people (who dont know any better) when they say "well dont play here then !" is that its all free, and free money is good.

Good luck to every1 who has earned themselves a nice bankroll - the better players will always come good in the end - i find that when pkr decides u will lose for a while, simply dont play for a few days and it reverts back to a more regular and fair game.
