Another What Would You Do Thread

Aye! - got another 15th last night - I'm definately playing to win now - and I've noticed I either do well , or blow out in the top 20. I am definately noticing a trend on Carbon where either the blinds are not quite timed right towards the end of tournaments, the hand for hand play is too early and slow, or people are very careful after the last 40 odd seats - something is different from what I'm used to. Whatever it is, I seem to end up on final tables or last 2 tables and everyone has similar stacks with very poor "M" ratios.

I'll keep plugging away :-)

I insta call with QQ there. He makes that play with 88 - JJ, AK and maybe AQ (unlikely though obv) with those blinds and stack sizes. If he has KK or AA oh well, you could still get lucky.

Hey thats great you are winning all the time but remember poker is the game of risks,twists and turns.Once I was playing in Broklyns casino where I was about to win the game but at the last moment my opponent changed the game and very next moment I lost it. But when we play online poker there are less risks involved you can switch off your PC when you see you are in denger...lolzzz

I wouldn't say I'm winning all the time ;-) - better put would be "I'm in a position to place/win frequently - placing is easy, winning is another thing"

Now I'm playing for 1st I'm finding the 9th to 4ths have disappeared - but I'm ok with that, like I said, the money is just not worth it for the time spent so I'm playing for 1st. Watch this space... (been a while since a 1st! had a couple of 2nds recently)
