God I've been such a fish! - I have heard the expression "Live cards" here and there but nevery really thought about it, and not tried to understand.

Then recently, it dawned on me mid-game that by playing high cards only I was constantly ending up in battles where the other callers had the cards I wanted to make my hand! Doh! - Now I get it - live cards = cards that have outs still in the deck ! lmao - what a donk

So I've been playng loads more low cards, like SCs and sometimes unsuited like 78 89 56 (If cheap flop of course) - and wow! you scabble so many blinds when people miss the flop with their high cards !! :-)

Talking about fishy behaviour - check out my last hand I just played at the end of a SNG - I had him covered, not by much, but I was certain my "acting" had worked on him. It hadn't - though he took a long time to call. And I got very lucky lmao

Villain - calls 300
Dodgey (89Hearts) - checks 600BB
Flop: 6h6d4s
Dodgey - checks
Villian: Bets 600
Dodgey - Calls 600 (just didn't' believe him and hoped to pair)
Turn: 2h (6h6d4s2h)
Dodgey: Checks
Villian: Bets 2400

So now I pause for a few seconds...

Dodgey: All-in (of course I'm pretending to have hit trips with my check raise and "slow play action"- putting him on junk)

Villian: pauses for a long time. Extra time. He calls!!!

Villian: 3cKc !!! - King high lol. Saying that, I have 9 high lmao.

River - yep! 4 HEARTS! hehe. We both laughed a fair bit.
