Arggghh! - how long can down turns last?
Goddamit. I'm playing on FT and I simply CANNOT win! - I've entered SNG after SNG. After the rare occasion I hit a hand, someone ALWAYS has just a little better. I have K flush, he has, Ace flush (with just one suit - he hits 4th suit on turn/river). I have high pair, he hits higher, or full house. I have flush draw, it misses. Straight draw, miss. Trips - can't remember last time I hit.
It's fucking annoying. On top of this, everyone is so damn tight the SNGs take forever. I'm sorely tempted to move my cash back to PP, btu I don't want to react to what may be just bad luck, and blow my bonus - which incidentally, seems to be taking an age to earn.

2-3 days usually is a down swing
if it gets towards a week, might want to evaluate your pre flop betting / calling

Hope it's only a few days! - The competition on FT just seems way harder than at PP. I stopped playing last night after the post above - felt I was tilting. Maybe it's because the games are 9 handed and I;ve not adjusted to the slightly different odds. I'm used to 10 seat sng where4 players are gone in no time, also, I did very well with 2k chips. It's 1.5k at FT which means small stabs at cheap flops can dwindle your stack much quicker.
I've tried being uber tight, but I simply miss every hand i go for. I then switch to some stealing and it backfires massively. Odd how you can go from owning to drowning so fast. I'll look at my preflop action and evaluate if my game has changed without me realising.

as to why people are talking about FT and PP on Pkr forum.

Because I'm talking about poker strategy - has zero to do with which poker room it's in, but 100 % to do with poker strategy. And as that happens to be the name of this forum section, it seems very appropriate.

Yes indeed.
I've had a bit of a down-turn too, think I'll stick to the live games. I'm not saying all online poker is fixed, but I've had some rotten luck lately, every good hand I get seems to be beaten on the turn or river  I want to play a few live games and compare the results, I seem to play a bit tighter in live games..... (Still playing the freerolls on 888 and PKR tho)

just if it wasnt to be "here" it would be "there" instead of 'no where' hmmm theres no curse here I cashed out on Vegas 24/7 in 8th place and then picked up some good coin on FT playing Omaha. I play on so many sites, and play all the different games it helps keeps things fresh when I come back to the bread and butter. keep firing at them pots
