Which of these do you guys prefer and/or play the most? Tonight I ventured into the fixed limit cash games after going on a bit of a downward curve on the no limit tables (I played very little on limit tables before tonight). I found I quickly made back the days losses and a bit on top. Some Fixed Limit players tend to be very loose and seem to play second pair as if it was the nuts!

It's also refreshing not to be able to lose a whole buy-in on one hand. It's often cheap to get in, see a flop and get out if you miss. If you connect however, some of the players will call all the way if they have just a small piece of the flop. I think they get carried away with the pot odds.

I've only been playing the $1/$2 tables so I don't know if it's the same at higher levels. Another nice thing ... rake is capped at $1 on these limits instead of $3 on the no-limits.

I'm definitely going back for more tomorrow
