And yes, I do agree, the way PKR have treated me is absolute bullshit. I checked the PKR forums terms & conditions and it said nothing at all about it being against the rules to question the sites integrity (they have since added it), but still they issued me with a threat to close my account for claiming there is 'something wrong' with the RNG...which there is absolutely no denying. After the warning I did not post one thing negative on the forums. I gave people technical advice on getting PKR support, I gave people opinions and advice... yet even pasting a SINGLE bad beat in the 'bad beat' section was enough for them (whom I assume is Victoria Dornan) to ban me from the forums. As for the chat ban, yeah it sucks. The 0.50/1 10 seater tables has alot of guys i've had great fun playing against and talking too, and it's a shame someone who only talks to tell people to shut up or stop swearing felt the need to complain about me and get me permenantly chat banned. And ya know, if I'd actually aimed it at someone as a threat then i'd put my arms up and take full responcibility, but at the end of the day I and half of the table were talking about a television program. Everyone got away with a warning and I get perm chat banned. But the icing on the cake, and what really puts PKR and their customer relations to shame, is the fact that they've put a total block on my account withdrawals, without giving any reasoning AT ALL- which they have no right to do, without just cause...and they have none! I understand the alderney regulations and how strict they are - that ID is required for any large withdrawal (i.e. entire bankroll), but to stop me withdrawing even $20 is just, well, pathetic. It's now been over a week now too and their head of customer relations has still failed to reply to my apology email explaining what happened a couple of weeks ago. 2 days, and the Security Team have yet to respond. Today I have sent them scanned I.D., and i'd put money on it that they will either ignore it, or take weeks to respond. I'm no customer relations God, but one thing I do know, and the basic MUST for anyone, especially the head of support is to know that a happy customer is one million times better than an unhappy, poorly treated one. And you don't cover up the smell of dog shit by putting newspaper over it and covering it up - you clean it up and get it sorted, otherwise the smell will get worse and it'll start to attract shit-flies. Something they quite obviously cannot do. I was, and still am, very dubious and sceptical about the RNG's integrity...it left me thinking, how serious can a poker site be that adds a feature (on a much aniticipated update) to stand up on an all in, yet leaves out the ability to leave player notes? Is it even a poker site? Surely it can't be when it constantly lets the players who are pretty much draw dead win pots, hand after hand. Seeing someone with tiny odds overcome something with massive odds you'd expect to see a couple of times a day, but yesterday alone i'd say it happened to me at least 10 times. But yeah, all it would have took PKR, was a simple email explaining to me and everyone else about the legitimacy of the RNG. But instead they let the complaint threads on PKR grow and grow, until they had thousands of views, before they did something. After that I believed I complained once, maybe twice...and what did they do? BAN ME FROM THE FORUMS, INGAME CHAT AND BLOCK MY WITHDRAWALS! Hah And people constantly say to me "if you hate the site so much, then why not leave?!" - well, i've been there since february, and in 3 months, I turned $20 into $3500, but over the past month something is really fishy about the site, and i've been noticing alot of the good players taking their cash and leaving, and I can only suggest anyone who's serious about their game to do the same. If you want to be at a site where you see huge action every 3 hands, and you love to go all in with middle pairs, or an inside straight draw then PKR is perfect. But if you want to seriously win money from playing your best, then it needs to be avoided at all costs because 7 times out of 10, that straight you hit on the flop will be slaughtered by a runner runner flush... maybe you should try to read all his threads to see what else he had done, not just in foruums. his chat ban comes to mind.... how many warnings do you give someone before enough is enough ? |

Assistanc3 you said that people complain on ALL the forums about ALL the poker sites being rigged etc, if that's true then why does PKR get all funny and threaten bans when people make the same comments on their forum? Why do they not just shrug it off as irrational conspiracy theories? All PKR's paranoid approach to any kind of criticism does is to make me suspicious |

haha nice, I just noticed your avatar ^^
from what he has posted, it seems he has had months of warnings. yes, all poker sites, all gaming sites have people that post/reply about being cheated / rigged / etc, And thats what forums / blogs / emails are for. I can not possible make a valid / non valid point to why PKR chooses to do what they do, I can however make a judgement call to why they might take the approach they are, but it would be speculation. You have to understand, that simply posting screen shots of cards that can and will happen in time, over time, and time and time again, does not account as evidence as cheating. Breaking the rules in which you agree to when you create an account, is warning #1. So saying he has never had a warning speaks for itself. ( the above is not my speculation, just facts ) |

If i am doing this i apologize...but i left PKR for a lot of simple stuff. Some background....I have been playing poker live and online for about 9 years. I have won live tournaments And i have also won online ones. This being said i think a lot of things have changed in my mind regarding online poker. I think that bringing to light the Absolute Poker scandal (just Google Absolute Poker you will find a host of things on that) and the fact that more and more Poker players (Honest to God live players) I feel are just heading back to the B & M's (and happily so) i think online has become a really big donkfest of unremarkable crap. To back this up i Must say that i feel as though psychologically no matter how great your avatar is etc. it is nothing like staring and verbally commenting (or having someone else comment, or several others) to a player that made a dumb move by calling with tre-deuce preflop for xx amount of dollars because they were "sooted". I think Representations of money IE: Chips is one level of removal from "real money" and video chips is 2 levels removed psychologically, and therefore easier to throw in, because there is A) less attachment to the "money" and B) only a chat box to berate someone, no PHYSICAL presence. This being said i have taken my worst beat ever live. I have taken far, far more numerous beats online. And i think all i have mentioned is why. For me the age of profitiablity and fun has left, therefore i will bid PKR adieu with a few classic screeners.SIRREAPER |
