Oh my word! PKR at it's absolute finest! That's one of the classics, thats for sure

ASS, nothing suprises you at PKR...honestly, mathematically, you could shuffle a deck and deal cards for weeks on end, and you'd be hard pressed to deal something similar to that.

I didn't give the aces and Queens a second look - I can't believe they went all in with 22 and 33! - I stopped all-in chasing the 16-1 set hands about 1 week ago! :-p

Even with the pot odds, with that many all-in's I'd rather watch and then play the limited remaining table :-p

I got knocked out of the $750 guarenteed tonight with something similar, wish i had taken a screen shot.

Blinds were gettign high and i was down to my last $1500 so went all in with 22 (Yes, I know its a low pair - but in REAL poker a pocket pair i a tournament situation is something you want all in,)

I had 2 callers, one with 33 and one with JJ, which i thought was really unlucky - I mean what are the odds on 3 players at the same table all being dealt PP's at the same time.......LMAO!!!

Imagine my delight when the flop came with a 2 - I've hit a set....the 2nd car is a blank.....but then a 3. OMG - the other guy has hit a set as well which cancels out my one. I mean the odds of one player hitting a set are 1/8 - but for 2 in the same hand to do it....well, thats like so unlucky, I mean "Thats just poker" huh....The guy with the jacks must be really gutted.....

The turn comes a blank, so me and the guy and the Jacks are headnig out.

But oh look - the magic PKr river saves the day - its a Jack! Yes - 3 players, all with pocket pairs, all hit a set on the same flop - that is amazing and so realistic.....so amazing that none of the other players wern't dealt a 2,3,J that they folded - no hang on, they must have been....we might all have us even have hit the "Case" (final remaining card in the deck) csrds for out sets.

3 players all hitting sets........what a load of complete b*llocks hahaha.

"well thats poker" i hear you say. No, I'm afraid its clearly isn't. Its called a setup. Thank god it was only a tourney - thats why I rarely go all in in a cash game, only on certain occasions. F*ck throwing in $100 on the river when you are 95% fave, only for the other player to hit their final remaining miracle card.

Absolute joke site - my mind is deffo made up. As soon as I hit my bankroll target I'm off to party poker to play some real poker.

Actually, if you hold a pocket pair, going to the flop your odds of a set are about 1/8, with them being 1/6 for trips if you have unconnected cards and your looking for 2 cards of the same value on the board. Still awful odds. If I do have a pocket pair with overcards and the other players bet aggressively, unless I put them on nothing i fold - its not worth it....if you dont hit on the turn, your 6% of hitting on the river. I either look for a free card or bow out.

Ahh - I stand corrected, I thought it was 16:1. I still won't push pairs like that unless I'm cornered chips wise as you are fighting a losing battle.
